Kakkoii Social Japanese Club is a space where Japanese learners and native speakers connect naturally through shared interests, like anime, food, music, language and creativity.

Our events are designed for intermediate and advanced learners who want to use their Japanese in the real world and for native speakers looking to make international friends, explore NYC in new ways and share their culture casually and comfortably.

At every event, we keep things low-pressure, fun, and conversation-focused with the occasional theme, activity or prompt to break the ice and get Japanese conversations flowing. There’s no classroom, no formal teaching - just good vibes, cool people and mutual curiosity.
